Backyard Transformation in Avondale Heights

We recently had the pleasure of working on an exciting project to completely transform the lower section of a client’s backyard. The space was previously uneven, constantly damp, and muddy during winter—long overdue for a much-needed upgrade.

The goal?

To create a level, functional, and low-maintenance area the whole family could enjoy.

Scope of Work:

• Constructed a concrete retaining wall with steel sleeves securely concreted in place.
• Installed aggi pipes along the edges, seamlessly connected to the stormwater system.
• Leveled the sloped and uneven terrain with a significant amount of rock material to create a solid base.
• Installed a Goalrilla CV60 basketball system.
• Added two putting cups with flags for a touch of golf fun.
• Laid 15.5m x 10.5m of premium synthetic turf.
• Completed line markings, including a white basketball key with a 3-point line and a camouflage green offset pickleball court.

The project was completed just in time to welcome the client’s new baby boy, who will undoubtedly enjoy this incredible space for years to come.

We had an absolute blast bringing this vision to life and couldn’t be happier with the results. This backyard is now a vibrant, versatile, and low-maintenance haven for endless fun and family memories.
